About Me

I'm a classically trained portrait artist, working mostly in graphite and oil. I taught drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art for 12 years as a senior instructor, and for six of those years I directed the Anatomy & Écorché department, first in Sweden and then in the USA.

In 2020 I left the Academy to focus on my own work and on teaching online. Since then I've taught tens of thousands of students through my Patreon, my courses and private mentorship. I now live and paint in Rome.
