The Belvedere Torso

The Belvedere Torso is the most well known of the Bargue plates. A big part of that notoriety is most likely due to it’s place in the master copy section of the program- it is the final Bargue plate that we will face before moving into the world of cast drawing. As such it represents an evolution of the ideas that have been introduced in previous Bargues. Each lesson will contain: lesson notes, source images, materials list, and a group critique video.
